In order to seek to achieve the investment objective, the Fund will adopt a Direct Investment Policy and will aim to replicate or track, before fees and expenses, the performance of the J.P. Morgan India Government Fully Accessible Route (FAR) Bonds Index, by holding a portfolio of fixed rate and zero coupon, Indian Rupee (INR) denominated government bonds issued by the Indian central government that have been made eligible for investment to non-residents under the fully accessible route (FAR) that comprises all or a representation of the securities comprised in the Reference Index or unrelated transferable securities.
