The objective of the Fund is to track the performance of the U.S. dollar-denominated bond market for fixed-rate, taxable, investment grade (high quality) securities. The Fund seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index (the Index) as closely as possible. The Fund invests primarily in securities included in the Index. These securities include investment grade, U.S. dollar-denominated, fixed-rate debt securities. In seeking to track the performance of the Index the Fund will use a stratified sampling strategy to build a representative portfolio. Consequently, the Fund will typically hold only a subset of the securities included in the Index.
