The investment objective of the Fund is to replicate the performance of the FTSE Japan ESG Low Carbon Select Index, while minimising as far as possible the tracking error between the Funds performance and that of the Index. The Index is a subset of the FTSE Japan Index (the Parent Index) and aims to measure the performance of companies in Japan as defined by the Index Provider. The Index seeks to achieve a reduction in carbon emissions and fossil fuel reserves exposure; and an improvement of the FTSE Russell ESG rating against that of the Parent Index.
