The Trust seeks the objective of having its Shares reflect the performance of the price of gold bullion, less the Trust's expenses. The Trust holds gold bullion and from time to time issues the Shares in Baskets in exchange for deposits of gold and distributes gold in connection with the redemption of Baskets.
