The objective of the Fund is capital appreciation. The Fund precisely tracks the daily performance of an equity index, called the MSCI India Net Total Return Index (USD), less fees and costs and consequently is passively managed. The Reference Index is an index that is designed to measure equity market performance of large and mid cap segments of the Indian market. The MSCI India Net Total Return Index (USD) consists of 158 constituents in the Indian market, covering approximately 85% of the Indian equity universe.
