The Portfolio seeks to achieve a total return from income and capital appreciation by investing in fixed income securities that are primarily denominated in Euro. The Portfolio will principally invest in a broad range of Investment Grade fixed income securities issued by companies domiciled in Europe or which have significant European operations. It may also invest in Investment Grade securities that are issued by sovereign and supranational borrowers.
