The Sub-Fund seeks to achieve a superior rate of return by making equity (i.e. shares) and equity-related investments in companies operating in the economies of Latin America. At least two-thirds of the Sub-Funds total assets will be invested in transferable securities of issuers domiciled in or exercising the predominant part of their commercial activities in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia. Within the remaining onethird, the Sub-Fund may invest in other transferable securities, including investments in other Latin American countries.
