The Fund aims to provide current income whilst maximizing total returns in the Euro-denominated short term fixed income market. The Fund invests mainly in short-term fixed and floating rate investment grade debt securities denominated in Euro issued by sovereign and corporate issuers including non-European issuers. The Fund can invest to a lesser extent in lower quality debt securities such as non-investment grade securities or securities in default (limited to 20% of the Funds assets) and derivatives for hedging, efficient portfolio management and/or investment purposes. The Fund pursues an actively managed investment strategy.
